KACCRRA Projects

The Kansas Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (KACCRRA) has many initiatives to increase the quality of child care in Kansas.

Infant/Toddler Project

A state-wide program that helps to increase the availability of quality infant-toddler care.

Kansas Quality Rating System (KQRS)

A pilot project designed to help providers improve the quality of child care they provide. It is hoped that eventually this program will be used to "rank" child care
providers in order to help parents better understand the importance of quality.

T.E.A.C.H.

A scholarship program for early childhood providers. There are participating
community colleges across the state

WAGE$

A professional incentive program that works to compensate child care providers
based on experience and education. Available in specific counties.
